The Fransen Family Foundation provides micro-grants ($10,000 or less) to charitable organizations selected by the directors of the Foundation. A recipient must be an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization. Requests for endowments are discouraged. The Foundation prefers to reward grants for specific projects rather than to contribute to an organization's general budget. A recipient of a grant will be ineligible for another grant for two years. For example, if an organization received a grant in 2015, it would next be eligible to apply in 2018.
